Cafe Hilda in Kiel

Always a must when we are in Kiel. Unfortunately that doesn't work that often at the moment. But through the online shop you can get a little "Hilda" home. The coffee doesn't taste as good as it does on site, but what do you want to do? Hope to see you again soon in the sunshine on your terrace!

I think you're doing really well right now. The only thing I find annoying is that your coffee tastes so good that I can no longer drink the usual filter broth at home and also have to buy my coffee powder from you. Hilda and Kopiton Addict ... but with great pleasure!

Café Hilda is currently integrated in the restaurant opposite. (I don't know if permanent or temporary?) In any case, the review relates to the current situation. The ambience is very nice, a mixture of rustic wood, but still spacious. I liked the warm light very much. The service was very friendly and the coffee and cake tasted great. You can not ask for more.

A really delicious breakfast there, I opted for the roasted egg slices that were very nicely arrangedger. The quality of the food was overall on a very high level. The self-roasted coffee was also very tasty 😋. I can only recommend everyone to have breakfast there. Very nice and friendly staff.

In Corona times, everything is not that easy and you understand many things. But not for bad service. Unfortunately our breakfast wasn't that nice. In advance I made a reservation by email and asked whether it would be possible to set the table for a birthday party. There was no response to the mail. I asked and made a reservation by phone. Deco was not possible due to Corona. Not an issue and understandable. Since we are two mothers, we were told when we made the reservation that we might be 30 minutes late. On arrival our table was no longer reserved. They said we didn't come by 10.30 a.m. ...? But we could be placed inside. After about 10 minutes someone came to be ignored. Breakfast was ok, the cafe was great. But the service and the friendliness were unfortunately nothing. Normally one congratulates at least once, the table was decorated by myself and there were gifts on it. As I said, drinks and service were only available after asking. Such a nice shop but we won't be back. It's a shame.

Coffee is delicious, the prices are okay, the staff is very nice, the ambience is a bit too hipster for me, but that's probably the target group too. Cakes are also very tasty but the pieces are a bit small (hence the point deduction) Had a big coffee, a small cappuccino and two pieces of cake and paid € 12.

A very nice café with a large terrace and spacious interior. There is no run-of-the-mill breakfast here, but a refreshing, extremely delicious one. The breakfast itself was freshly prepared, with a salad on the plate which I really liked. The oven loaf was still warm. It looked a bit burnt in some places but the taste was excellent. Only the chia pudding was a bit bland without the topping. Definitely a recommendation and worth visiting again

A very nice place to stay! The coffee is super aromatic, the flat white with oat milk is a dream! We really liked the scones! We also tried a salmon sandwich with salad (with a very tasty vinaigrette!) And porrige with oat milk. The presentation is great! Value for money is good and the service was really nice too! Thank you!

Very friendly hipster place. Banana bread was exceptional - no artificial sweetness, crispy and soft.

Today I was for the first time with my wife in the Café Hilda for breakfast. The cafe is modern, clean, bright and cozy. The service was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend Café Hilda.

Small and cozy cafe. Sometimes the coffee has weird taste maybe the PH makes it so, but generally is a pleasant place to relax!

Love this place. Everything here is nice, the staff are all super friendly and seem to be just nice people, the music is often cool and the drinks and cakes are delicious. Ambience is nice and cosy. One of my favourite places in Kiel now.

We really love Cafe Hilda. It's almost always full because it's so good but also tiny and cozy. Their vegan sandwiches are delicious.
